A substantial and very finely detailed original antique French gilt brass clock set. It is gothic in design with mythical creatures, lions masks and elaborate, flowing, scrolling foliage. The original gilding is very good and we have cleaned it to a stunning clean and bright condition.

Antique French Rococo Boudoir Clock

A lovely original antique French Rococo boudoir clock. Modelled in gilt brass and typically bold, waisted design with laurel leaves, 'C' scrolls and floral swags. There is a large and elaborate acanthus finial to the top of the case. The dial is the sought after cream enamel on copper with black lettering and is complete with original blued steel hands. It has a separate minute ring and has a Rococo acanthus bezel. RSC2322
