Fine Antique French Boulle Bracket Clock by Japy Freres

An exquisite and large original antique bracket clock, Louis XV style, veneered in Boulle work and mounted with ormolu (fine gilded bronze). This clock is of the most superb quality and finish, the red veneer has mellowed to a beautiful antique red-brown and the combination of the red veneer, brass inlay and ormolu produces the most sumptuous effect. The case is glazed to three sides to allow the ormolu sunburst pendulum to be seen swinging.

A large and stunning original antique French clock set. It is beautifully made in gilt brass in the Baroque style. It features an armorial bearing to the front with a shield and wings, flanked by mythical creatures. Above the dial is a goddess mask and a large ornate urn. Candelabra are conforming in style with elaborate arms modelled as scrolling foliage. Flame snuffers sit in the middle nozzle as a finial when not in use.

Early Antique French Brass Clock

A large and earlier antique French brass clock set. It is a beautifully bold baroque design with mythical creatures and lions masks. The front of the case is elaborately fretted to allow the pendulum to be seen swinging within the case. The the top of the clock is a large handled urn with a pineapple finial. Candelabra are conforming in style with branches incorporating mythical creatures and masks. 

Rare Farcot Cherub On A Swing Boudoir Clock

A super, rare original antique French clock featuring a cherub swinging back and forth as the pendulum. This is the Farcot version, the best one, patented by Farcot in 1862. The front plate of the movement is skeletonised and is visible through the centre of the dial. The case is beautifully simple and chic, made of the semi-translucent rock alabaster.

A stunning original antique French clock set, Bacchus themed with two charmingly depicted putti or cherubs, the little boy holding grapes and the little girl holding a sheave of wheat. They are beautifully modelled and finely finished in bronze patinated metal which has a lovely deep green / brown colour. The bases are sienna marble, lovely pinkish off white with a strong orange figure running through it

A stunning original antique clock, French in the Rococo style, featuring elaborate 'C' scrolls and flowing foliage. It is beautifully modelled in gilded brass with a lovely clean and bright finish. The dial is the sort after cream with blue lettering and separate outside minute ring.

A beautiful Louis XVI style clock set 'Garniture de Cheminee'. It is very well modelled in brass in the Louis XVI style. The case is architecturally shaped, profusely decorated with floral swags. The front and sides of the case are finely fretted to allow the pendulum to be glimpsed swinging within the case.

This is a very large and heavy original antique French brass clock. It is very decorative in the classical style, beautifully, modelled and finished. To each side is a Caryatid, supporting the cavetto cornice upon her head. Below the dial is a lions mask holding a swag within its mouth.

A beautiful original antique French boudoir clock of Boulle work in the Rococo style. The case is of waisted keyhole shape, veneered in red shell veneer, delicately inlaid with polished brass. It is mounted with fine ormolu, C scrolls, acanthus and a goddess mask. To the top is a Rococo urn. The front of the clock is glazed to allow the pendulum to be seen swinging within the case. The red shell veneer has mellowed to a lovely antique red-brown with plenty of character.
