A large and very good quality original antique French cartel wall clock by the famous maker Japy Freres and retailed by the Parisian retailer Charles Hour. It is beautifully made in gilded bronze in the Baroque style. The ormolu pendulum swings visibly below the dial. Height 23 1/2" or 60cm.

A lovely, large antique French Sienna marble portico clock set dating from around 1900. The clock is suspended below a domed top which sits on 6 marble pillars with the sunburst pendulum swinging gently between. Cupid sits atop with his bow having just unleashed an arrow. Sienna marble is mounted with gilt metal and has a lovely figure.

Large Rococo Clock Set by A D Mougin

A large and stunning original antique French clock set, beautifully modelled in gilt bronze in the Rococo style. If is profusely decorated with 'C' scrolls and acanthus, the front is fretted to allow a glimpse of the pendulum swinging within.  Candelabra are of conforming style with twirling arms of acanthus supporting the four lights and a further one to the centre. Clock and candelabra stand on integral bases.

A superb striking turret clock movement by the world renown maker J. W. Benson of Ludgate Hill, London. It is of the firms usual horizontal, heavily constructed cast iron frame and beautifully machine brass wheels and is fully working (see the video clip below). It has hourly rack striking for a suitable bell and maintaining power.
