Very Large Antique French Rococo Boulle Clock.

~ French - Circa 1880 ~

This is a very large Boulle bracket or table clock standing at over 2 feet in height, larger than it looks in the pictures! It is Rococo in style, classic waisted keyhole shape mounted with ormolu scrolls and surmounted by a large ormolu floral finial. The front of the clock is decorated with Boulle work (inlaid brass and red veneer) and the sides are ebonised.

A Large and boldly modelled gothic wall clock, beautifully made from brass. It is very heavily but finely modelled and is in the form of the clock in a drum hanging from an ornate wall bracket, a grotesque mask forms the top of the bracket with the clock held in the masks mouth.
