A superb cartel wall clock in the style of Louis XVI. It as formed as a round bronze body housing the movement suspended from an ormolu ribbon swag with a bow crest. The bronze body is decorated with stylised acanthus beaded decoration.

A stunning original antique French Rococo clock. It is beautifully modelled in gilded bronze, of waisted shape, profusely and boldly decorated with 'C' scrolls, acanthus leaves and trailing foliage. To the top is an elaborate urn. The front is fretted to allow a glimpse of the pendulum gently swinging within.

A beautiful, original antique French gilt bronze cartel wall clock. Stunning Louis XV Rocaille design with bold scrolling acanthus leaves and a foliate finial. To the sides are fretted apertures and the pendulum is visible gently swinging below the dial.

A stunning original antique French Rococo clock. It is beautifully sculptured with finely finished scrolls, curves and acanthus leaves in finely gilded bronze. Panels backed with red fabric lighten the design. The reflection of pendulum can be seen gently swinging above the polished base.

A very fine and early ormolu (finely gilded bronze) clock mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain panels. Two seated cherubs sit each side of an urn, draped with vines, celebrating the grape harvest in a tribute to Bacchus, the Roman god of wine and fertility. Porcelain has a blue ground and is delicately painted with cherubs to each side of the dial and floral swags to the corners and base.

A fine and early antique French clock featuring a charming figure of a greyhound in silvered bronze. The case is of ormolu (fire gilded bronze doré) with an acanthus frieze and scroll bracket feet.

A beautiful original antique French portico clock. It is made of white marble mounted with ormolu (finely gilded bronze). The movement is held aloft on four marble pillars with the ormolu pendulum swinging gently below.

A very large and fine antique French clock set. It is of Rococo design in the manner of Juste Aurele Meissonier and boldly modelled in gilt bronze. Waisted keyhole shape with acanthus leaf shoulders, 'C' scroll feet standing on its original integral serpentine base. Candelabra are beautifully formed as acanthus wrapped stems, with swirling acanthus arms and fluted tulip-form nozzles.

A fine and elegant original antique French Louis XVI style clock set. It is beautifully made of beautiful white marble mounted with very good quality ormolu (finely gilded bronze). To the sides are scroll brackets with acanthus leaves. To the front is a quiver of arrows and a flaming torché, emblems of cupid and love.

It depicts Cupid among the clouds, carrying a flaming torch with which to enflame his victims with love and a bow from which he has fired an arrow. Between his arms is a bird, allegorical of love. Beautifully modelled in ormolu (finely gilded bronze) and mounted on a white marble base.
