A beautifully restrained and chic Empire style portico clock set by the famous maker Japy Freres. It is modelled in crisp white marble with fine ormolu (finely gilded brass or bronze) mounts. The clock is held aloft in a drum on two white marble pillars with the ormolu sun burst pendulum swinging visibly below

A stunning French antique clock set in bronze by the top maker Japy Freres. It is Baroque in style with a large elaborate urn with lions masks and trailing laurel swags. The bronze is a lovely mellow golden brown with a life times patination.

A beautiful and nicely sized antique French clock set. It is very well modelled in gilded brass, in the Louis XVI style, classically architectural and decorated with flowing foliage and flowers. The front of the clock is fretted which allows a glimpse of the pendulum swinging inside the case and the rear door is glazed to allow the movement to be seen.

It features a beautifully modelled figure of a young woman, reclining with a bouquet of flowers and a pair of birds. It is in very good condition.

A stunning and large original antique French gilded brass clocks set. It is of the most beautiful Rococo style, waisted case decorated with 'C' scrolls, acanthus leaves and floral swags. Candelabra have 5 elaborate acanthus arms and large original snuffers to match the final of the clock.

A stunning Rococo boudoir clock by the well known maker Japy Freres. It is very good quality and beautifully modelled in gilded brass with intricate and well chased detail. The beautiful waisted key hole shape is decorated with acanthus shoulders and bezel, 'C' scrolls and a shell motif. To the top is a large and elaborate urn with trailing foliage.

A beautiful original Antique French Rococo clock set. It is stunning in its original ormolu (fine gilded bronze) which is bright and clean. The case is of classic Rococo design, waisted, keyhole shape with acanthus leaf shoulders, 'C' scroll feet standing on a serpentine base and surmounted by a charming figure of a cherub marking the passage of time with a sundial.

A large and handsome original antique French four glass or crystal regulator. It is of grand proportions, finely made in gilded brass, with reeded Corinthian columns, stepped break front base and top with scalloped edges. The heavy gilt brass pendulum swings gently within the case and the jewelled Brocot dead-beat pin-pallet is visible within the dial. The movement is also visible within the case.
