Large and Stunning Gilt Brass Clock with Visible Pendulum.

A very finely detailed gilt brass clock in excellent condition, much of the original gilding remains which is in lovely bright and clean condition. The style is Baroque. The clock movement is held aloft by cherubim forming the front pillars. The cherubim look back at two winged lions which are tethered. The pendulum is visible swinging below the movement between the cherubim pillars

Stunning Louis XVI Cartel Clock

A beautiful antique French cartel wall in the style of Louis XVI. Seated on the top of the case is a charming figure of a cherub holding a dove. The clock  is classically designed with velvet lined sound frets to the sides, floral swags, and acanthus leaf finial to the bottom.

Japy Freres Gilt Brass Clock

A very decorative mantle or table clock by the famous maker Japy Freres. The clock is of classical style with drop handles and surmounted by an urn. The large dial is enamel on copper and has a fretted brass centre, it is complete with the original blued steel hands. The bezel is egg and dart pattern, fitted with bevelled glass.
