A rare and wonderful clock in the French oriental style. Beautifully made in ormolu (finely gilded bronze) and mounted with exquisitely decorated porcelain with a silver ground. The dial panel features a couple relaxing in a garden, she has a parasol, and they are surrounded by white, yellow and pink cherry blossom.

A stunning original antique French boudoir clock by the renown maker Japy Freres and retailed by the well known London firm of Richard & Co. It is made of exquisite ormolu (finely gilded bronze) mounted with delicately painted Sèvres style porcelain.

A rare and stunning original antique French clock set, in gilt bronze. It is beautifully designed in the Rococo style and features exquisite cloisonné or champlevé enamel work to both the clock and candelabrum. It has an elegant waisted, asymmetric case, decorated with flowing scrolls and acanthus. To the top is a large, elaborate Rococo finial.

A beautiful ormolu clock, mounted with exquisite panels of Sèvres style porcelain with a Pompadour Rose ground. Each piece is finely decorated, flowers, an exotic bird and a dragon fly. It is by Japy Frères and was retailed by the well known London clockmaker John Bennett. The Ormolu (finely gilded bronze) is in superb original condition.

A superb Japy Frères antique French ormolu boudoir clock. It is classical in style with scrolls, acanthus panel with birds and a large urn with rams head handles to the top. The lid of the urn opens for storage of small items. The ormolu is in stunning original condition.

A beautiful small antique French portico clock retailed by the famous Maple & Co of London. Very well made in white marble and ormolu (finely gilded doré bronze). Neoclassical in design, four delicate Corinthian columns support the top with anthemion cornice. The clock hangs between the columns with the pendulum swinging delicately below.

A large and beautiful antique French Rococo clock. Beautifully made in finely gilded bronze and mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain. Porcelain has a white ground with panels delicately painted with scenes. Below the dial the panel shows a young couple strolling in a country setting.

A very elegant cartel clock, Louis XVI in design with a handled urn and acanthus decoration. A large bow sits above the dial, and sound panels to the sides and front allow the delicate sound of the bell strike to be heard. It is finely made in gilded bronze which is in stunning condition.
