A beautiful original antique French Rococo cartel wall clock by Japy Freres. It is a delicate, asymmetric design. To one side a deeply scalloped shell and 'C' scroll to the other a beautifully depicted floral arrangement. Beneath the dial is a winged cherub playing a tune with cymbals at his feet. Behind the cherub, the pendulum can be seen swinging gently.

A very decorative original antique French boudoir clock. It is Rococo in style, modelled in gilt brass, boldly scrolling, asymmetric waisted case with 'C' scrolls, floral bouquet and swags and an urn to the top. To the side of the dial are stylised acanthus leaves and above is an asymmetric scroll top. It makes for a stunning display as you can see below.

A superb and very decorative original antique French clock. It is boldly modelled in the Rococo style, asymmetric waisted case decorated profusely with acanthus leaves, 'C' scrolls and floral swags. To the top is a large elaborate 'C' finial draped with floral swags and acanthus. It is of lovely quality, heavily made but with a crisp, light design.

A very large and stunning Rococo bracket clock, on its original bracket it is almost 4 feet in height. It is red Vernis Martin style lacquer work, exquisitely painted with floral swags. The Ormolu mounts (Doré Bronze or fine gilded brass / bronze) are finely modelled and crisply chased with a lovely clean and bright original gilding. To the top is a beautifully large and flamboyant rococo finial.

Japy Freres Rococo Cartel Clock

A beautiful original antique French Rococo cartel wall clock by Japy Freres. It is a delicate, asymmetric design. To one side is a scroll with a fretted panel and to the other a floral swag with a snake entwined around a branch. An acanthus scroll sits on the top of the clock and a bold 'C' scroll beneath the dial with a ribbon and bow. Behind the 'C' scroll, the pendulum can be seen swinging gently. This is very well made clock with sharp detail and a bright finish.

A beautiful and excellent quality original antique boudoir clock modelled in the Rococo style in ormolu. It is of waisted keyhole shape, decorated with elaborate foliate scrolls, acanthus shoulders and 'C' scrolls. To the top is a large 'urn of plenty' with flowers and fruit and it stands on its original integral base with boldly scrolling feet.

A stunning classical original antique French clock set, beautifully modelled in crisp, white marble mounted with ormolu (finely gilded brass / bronze). The clock movement is held aloft in a gilded drum by 4 white marble pillars with floral swags between. The ormolu pendulum swings visibly below.

A beautiful Louis XVI style original antique French boudoir clock of gilt metal mounted with exquisitely painted Sevres style porcelain. Porcelain has a beautiful Pompadour Rose pink ground and each piece is signed to the rear by the artist. To the top of the case is an elaborate porcelain urn with a beautifully painted portrait of Marie Antoinette.

A large, bold and stunning original antique French brass Rococo cartel clock, classic Rococo asymmetrical shape with bold and flamboyant scrolls and foliage. It is beautifully modelled in gilt brass, scrolling foliage forms the case, backed with fretwork backed with gilded brass. To the shoulders are leaves and flowers and an ornate finial sits on the top. The superb large dial is enamel on copper with a brass centre and is complete with original blued steel hands and convex bevelled glass.
