A rare and impressive antique French clock, modelled as an elephant carrying a howdah with a tiger being fought of by the mahout. Beautifully modelled in bronze patinated metal with highlights in gilt. The elephant is mounted on a green marble base with gilt feet.

A fine and early Ormolu and Sèvres style porcelain clock by the famous case maker and retailer Rollin of Paris and the movement by Japy Frères. It is exquisitely modelled in finely gilded bronze, showcasing the finest quality. The nymph fondly looks down on the nest of birds in her arm.

A magnificent ormolu (finely gilded bronze) and Sèvres style porcelain clock by renown maker Achille Brocot. It is of a beautifully chic design, four turned corner columns with a cushion shaped top with 5 finials. The front and sides are mounted with Sèvres style porcelain panels, finely painted with country scenes with a beautiful red ground. Over-glaze gilt decoration is studded with turquoise porcelain 'jewels'.

A large and beautiful antique French Vernis Martin style lacquer clock. Decorated in exquisite Eau de Nil ground with delicate floral swags, mounted with crisp ormolu (finely gilded bronze) mounts.

A stunning original antique French gilt bronze Cartel wall clock by Japy Frères. It is beautifully designed in the Rococo style, asymmetrical panels of curving trellis work, covered with flowers and entwined foliage. To the top, a bird gently lands in front of a curved shell. Below the dial is a fretted panel which allows a glimpse of the pendulum swinging.

A beautiful antique French clock in finely gilded bronze. It is Baroque in style with a goddess mask, a lions mask and mythical creatures. The front is architecturally designed with two Corinthian columns with a panel of an urn sounded by scrolling foliage.

A superb original antique French clock. It is finely modelled in the Rococo manner with a putti floating in the clouds holding the clock modelled as a drum by a ribbon. In the other hand he is about to beat the drum. Beautifully made and finished in ormolu (gilded bronze) and sitting on a white marble base mounted with bronze.
