A stunning original antique French clock set. Beautifully made in the classical style of Louis XVI in ormolu (finely gilded bronze) and a lovely variegated specimen green onyx. To the sides are fluted pilasters and the clock is surmounted by a twin handled urn. Candelabra are formed of a central flaming torché with two arms of scrolling acanthus.

A stunning original antique French gilt bronze clock by the renown maker Japy Frères. A beautiful Louis XVI classical design, with curved fretted sides, scrolling brackets and a cherub with cymbals sat atop floral swags. A glimpse of the pendulum swinging can be seen through the fret work.

A superb Baroque style antique French bracket clock. Finely and heavily made in Ormolu (finely gilded bronze), it is formed of fretted panels with profuse decoration. To the top of four beautifully modelled dolphins surrounding a flaming urn. The rear door is also beautifully modelled allowing the clock to be displayed in the round.

The bronze body is decorated with a swag of flowers in ormolu and a motif of a quiver of arrows and a torché.

A large and magnificent clock set by the renown bronze founder H Luppens of Brussels. Classically modelled in the Louis XVI style, the clock features three ormolu cherubs toiling to support a large deep blue lacquered orb that contains the clock movement and dial. The sunburst pendulum swings gently below.

The case made of finely gilded bronze in the Louis XV style of bold scrolling acanthus forming a waisted case, standing upon a base. Fabric fretted panels lighten the design.

It is of a beautifully chic design, four turned corner columns with a cushion shaped top with 5 finials. The front and sides are mounted with Sèvres style porcelain panels with a beautiful blue ground. The front panel is finely painted with a scene of a young couple in a country setting, he hands her a basket of roses.

A pieced panel to the front allows a glimpse of the pendulum gently swinging within.

Asymmetrically modelled in the Louis XV style, the dial bursting through the swirling clouds as the sun, cherubs climbing through them, one with a bouquet, one with a cornucopia. The rays backed with red fabric fretwork to lighten the design. It is made of ormolu (finely gilded bronze).

Panels to the sides are finely painted with bouquets of flowers.

A beautiful antique French clock. Its is finely modelled in ormolu (finely gilded bronze) and features two lions to each side of an urn to the top. To each side of the dial are exquisite winged goddesses formed into the side of the case. The original gilding is finely matted and polished for a beautiful contrast.

Beautifully modelled in finely gilded bronze and finely decorated with exquisite polychrome champlevé enamel. The case is formed with an arched swan neck pediment surmounted by a turret with elaborate finial.

A beautiful original antique French clock, modelled in the Baroque style in gilt bronze. It is of architectural form with an applied motif of flowers, scrolls and cornucopia.
