Antique French Bronze, Ormolu and Marble Boudoir Clock Set ~ French - Circa 1880 ~ ~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~ A superb antique French boudoir clock, beautifully made in bronze and ormolu and mounted on white marble bases. It features a bronze cherub draping laurel wreaths over the clock which is mounted on a classical column. Side urns are bronze mounted with ormolu.

The pretty dial is porcelain enamel on copper, decorated with pretty floral swags and finely fretted gilt hands.

The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell.

Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The bronze is excellent, there is some slight wear to the urns. Marble is also excellent with just some slight nibbles. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage. There is a small scratch on the original glass. 

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
