Antique French Gilt Bronze Baroque Clock ~ French - Circa 1900 ~ ~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~ A large and stunning original antique French clock by A.D. Mougin. It is beautifully made from gilded bronze in the Baroque style. It is modelled with profuse, stylised acanthus with the front delicately fretted to allow a glimpse of the pendulum swinging within.

The dial is porcelain enamel and is complete with it's original blued steel hands.

The French movement is by A.D. Mougin and is of high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent, beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration. The dial is also in excellent condition just some slight hairlining near the 11 o'clock.
