Antique French Brass Table Clock

A very decorative antique French table clock. It features lion's mask handles to the sides, hairy paw feet and a beautiful enamel dial painted with a floral swag. Below the dial, the front of the clock is fretted to allow a glimpse of the pendulum swinging within the case. It is lovely bright and clean condition, ready to display in your home.

The French movement is of high quality and has the Fritz Marti mark on the movement backplate. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days on one wind and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. There is some very minor wear /discolouration in places. The dial is also very good, the only fault being a small chip above the 12 o'clock.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
