A Beautiful and nicely proportioned French Rococo clock by Japy Freres. The clock is of typical Rococo design, with C scrolls, and swirling foliage. The modelling of the case is of the highest quality and the finish is bright and clean.

The beautiful original enamel dial and the delicately fretted blued steel hands are in excellent condition. Japy Freres movement is of excellent quality, runs for 8 days, strikes on a bell and is in excellent, clean and running condition - it is complete with the original bell and an old replacement pendulum.

Condition is excellent - the brass has a clean and bright finish and there are no losses to the case. The enamel dial has some very light chipping around the hand winding holes but is otherwise perfect.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
