Gilt Metal and Black Marble Clock - The Knight.

Stunningly decorative clock in excellent original condition. It features a Knight mounted on his war horse amidst oak leaf and acorn foliage. The Knight is fully armoured and brandishes his broad sword, while his richly caparisoned destrier rears and tosses his mane. Knight and war horse are beautifully modelled with plenty of movement and life.

The dial is enamel on copper and it is complete with the original blued steel moon hands.

Movement is of the highest quality and has the retailers mark on the back plate. Our clockmaker has cleaned and serviced the movement - it is in excellent clean and running condition. We have replaced the missing pendulum. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent, the gilding is clean, bright and in exceptional original condition. There is some very minor bubbling and wear to the gilding. The enamel dial is in very good condition with just a small hairline by the left hand winding hole.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
