Super Mahogany Bracket Clock - Westminster Chime on 4 Gongs

Very pretty Mahogany cased bracket clock by Kienzel of Germany. The case is of super quality with swag and ribbon inlay. The dial is silvered brass with floral engraving and the hands are blued steel. The glazed door is bevelled glass.

The movement is of very quality. It Chimes at every 1/4 and strikes on the hour - click the links below to listen. It is in full working order and is in excellent and clean condition. The movement is marked with the Kienzel trademark - a wheel with wings. The gongs sound great!

The condition of the case is very good. The colour of the mahogany of the front of the clock has faded to a pleasing red / orange. There is a minor scratch in the polish on the left hand side of the top of the case. There is some minor fading and one or two blemishes as one would expect with any antique item. We think that the clock may have been refinished some time ago - the case looks great as you can see in the pictures below.
