Antique Gilt French Boudoir Clock - Vincenti et Cie.

A stunning little gilt metal boudoir clock depicting a cherub or little genius writing in a book. Modelling is very crisp and the gilt finish is excellent and original. The case is signed by the case maker - Brunfaut.     

The dial is enamel on copper and is complete with the original blued steel hands.

The antique French movement is by Vincenti one of the finest makers of the 19th century, it is of superb quality, runs for 8 days and strikes half-hourly on a bell. It has been fully restored in our workshop and is in excellent clean and running condition. The pendulum is an old replacement. Click the movie below to see and hear the movement working!

Condition of the case is excellent with a bright and clean finish, some very minor wear or discolouration in places. There are a couple of old repairs at the rear of the case which cant be seen from the front. Dial is also in excellent condition with no chips or scratches.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.

A beautiful little clock in full working order!
