A very decorative French Gilt Brass Clock, beautifully modelled with floral swags and bouquets.

The A. D. Mougin movement is of excellent quality and has the makers mark on the back plate of the movement. The movement runs for 8 days and strikes on a bell and is in excellent, clean and running condition.

Condition of the case is excellent, there are no losses and the finish of the brass has mellowed to a lovely rich antique patina, with the high spots worn. The enamel dial is perfect and the clock has its original bell and an old pendulum.
