A large and stunning original antique French clock. It is Louis XV in style, mounted with exquisite Sèvres style porcelain with a cream ground. Below the dial is a panel depicting a couple strolling in a country setting. To the top is a gadrooned urn, delicately painted with floral garlands.

A large and stunning antique French Baroque drum head clock. Beautifully modelled in gilt bronze, the clock sits upon a a cushion shaped base with mythical creatures forming the feet. A swept gadrooned support holds the clock in a drum with elaborate scrolling acanthus to the sides.

A stunning original antique French gilt bronze clock in the classical style of Louis XVI. A beautifully restrained architectural case with a handled urn to the top, a bow above the dial, scrolling acanthus to the sides and polished panels with applied motifs.

A superb original antique French Rococo clock by the famous maker Japy Freres. Beautifully detailed bronze case with C scrolls, acanthus and shell motifs. A charming cherub is seated to the top plays pipes. Fretted sound panels backed with fabric lighten the design. A glimpse of the pendulum swinging can just be seen.

A beautiful Royal Vienna type porcelain boudoir clock featuring a classical maiden seated on a rock. She is holding a dove and is surrounded by delicate flowers. The tiny French movement is mounted in the rock and has an enamel on copper dial with very fine gilt brass hands. This superb little clock would be ideal for a desk or dressing table.

A beautiful, classically designed antique French gilt bronze clock set by Japy Frères. It features oval panels to the sides showing Fortuna, the goddess of luck, an emperor to the front and lions masks. To the top of the clock is a cherub on a globe and flame finials surmount the candelabra.

A stunning original antique French boudoir clock by the renown maker Japy Frères. It is made of exquisite ormolu (finely gilded bronze) mounted with delicately painted Sèvres style porcelain. The Porcelain is decorated with a pompadour rose pink background, the panel below the dial is delicately painted with cherubs.

A lovely, early ormolu (finely gilded bronze) Gothic clock mounted with exquisite porcelain panels with a royal blue ground. These are beautifully decorated with heraldic motifs. The dial has a portrait of a royal couple and to the front of the clock is a seated knight in armor. Brackets to the side of the clock feature gothic goygoyls and above the dial is an angelic mask. The original gilding is beautifully crisp and fresh.
